Constructed Realities

Constructed Realities is a biennial awards program established at the behest of the Small Firms Committee. Constructed Realities recognizes exemplary performance in a broad range of architectural work, informing the public of the diversity, value, and social power of architecture. Entrants need not be AIASF members, and firms of all sizes are encouraged to enter with projects of varied scale and scope.

Redeem IDP Credit Hours

IDP Candidates can redeem up to 40 hours per experience area (excluding leadership & service). Candidates should fill out the Design Competition Verification form. This form is to certify that the AIASF Constructed Realities program meets the requirements of completing a design competition for IDP credit as defined in the IDP Guidelines.

About the 2011 Competition

2011 categories were Architectural Detail, Pro Bono Design (in partnership with Public Architecture), Restaurant Design (in partnership with the Golden Gate Restaurant Association), and Architecture - Structures with a Small Budget (under $500,000 construction cost). View 2011 Winners.
